Good Fortune Soap Giveaway!

**CONTEST CLOSED**

A few days ago I did a product review on Good Fortune Soap and their natural Faucet Soap in Sweet Spice.  I love this product and I especially love this company.  You can see my Good Fortune Soap Product Review for details and more information on the company and other products they offer.  Jennifer Jack, the owner and soap maker, was generous enough to provide me an extra Faucet Soap for one of my readers!  This soap is awesome and is fast becoming my favorite new product.

To win, follow these simple steps:

  1.  You must subscribe to my blog.  Just click on the “subscribe” button located on the upper right side of your computer screen.
2.  You must leave a comment on this video.
Let me know what you have done to go organic, or what your favorite blog entry is on my site, or what you plan on working on to become more “green”.  You can pretty much say anything you want to, but each comment you leave has to be different from the last.
3.  The more comments you leave, the better chance you have to win!

  1. Nice giveaway.

I’ve gone organic by eliminating the harsh chemical that my son is exposed to. I choose to use cloth diapers to avoid cholorine and many other toxic chemicals.

I wouldloveto win a faucet soap very much. The last thing I ever won was a turkey, which IS natural, but hard to use as a beauty product. I have found the most effective beauty product ever, and that is love, yes love. Having multiple daily doses of love keeps your skin smooth, clear and your smile sparkly and constant. Henceforth, Sarah!

I like the soap and the scrubby pouch too. I like things that hang and are able to dry out in the shower. There is nothing worse than mushy soap.

My boys need this in their shower so they can hang it up and grab it when they need it. The shower at the new house doesn’t have any soap groove things and they get sprayed in the face by the faucet when they try to reach the shower caddy soap shelf. I hope we win one.

I was reading something the other day about green living and it was saying that reusing or repurposing things is much greener that recycling them because recycling uses energy to turn stuff into other stuff. Do you reuse or repurpose anything?

I was looking at Good Fortunes website and noticed that they sell activated charcoal in a vile as like a natural remedy for stomach stuff. I also saw in Read Made Magazine that you can use activated charcoal as a natural eyeliner by mixing it with olive oil or Un-Petroleum (as learned about by Sarah Goes Organic) to make a paste and then use a thin brush to line eyes. When I place my Good Fortune order I just might add the charcoal and try it out.

Sarah Eden- There are very few really good hummus’ that I have found. Did you make your own or buy it? The best we had was in DC and it was served with thick pita bread. The kids devoured it but we have yet to find another one we really like.

I was wrong on the charcoal mix. You actually add aloe vera gel or water to it to make the eyeliner and mascara.
